Anders Ekholm has been CEO at the Institute for Future Studies since 2014 and now he works as a senior advisor. He has a broad experience from the Government Offices where he worked with quantitative economics and has been the Head of Analysis at the Ministry of Social Affairs and also worked at the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Labor and Education and the Ministry of Education. He has also published a series of reports, chapters and articles on digitalisation and governance of public operations and he has a great knowledge about various boards for health and care, AI start-ups, and is chairman of the Greater Stockholm Diabetes Association.
Among other things, he has worked with the development and analysis of micro-simulation models, including demographics, health, the labor market, education, taxes and transfers. Anders has also worked as an IT project manager, for example, to develop the system that the state budget, distributes and follows up the state budget.
