OPEN Odense Patient data Explorative Network, Denmark

Christina Radl-Karimi is a PhD student at the OPEN Odense Patient data Explorative Network, a research support unit associated with the Odense University Hospital (OUH) in the Region of Southern Denmark. Her PhD project is about co-production of healthcare services with immigrant patients, which is carried out in collaboration with the Clinic for Immigrant Medicine at OUH. Patients attending the clinic represent a distinct group of migrants with longstanding, unresolved symptoms and often multiple illnesses. The PhD project is based on qualitative research methods and will give input on how to design healthcare services that create the best possible value for both the patient and the healthcare system.
