Psychological Safe – essential learning and change in clinical microsystems

Psychological safety (PS) plays a vital role in helping health professionals overcome barriers to learning and change in interpersonally challenging work environments, e.g. the daily work in clinical microsystems. PS can be seen as essential for delivering good quality health care, and varies significantly among different microsystems like teams or departments, leading to more or less adequate behavior and collaboration. We need to understand factors that contribute to safe learning and work climate. At Improvement Science day there will be a workshop around the theme.
