Partnership with Patients and Families to Coproduce Care


Hundreds of multidisciplinary health care professionals are being educated and practicing new communication skills to result in patients and families conversations that are more meaningful, trusting and resulting in more coproduction of care to best meet patients and families needs and desires. Sustaining daily care for people with Cystic Fibrosis requires effective/empathic communication, deep insight into the patient experiences balancing life with Cystic Fibrosis care. Taking the time to engage in relationship based conversation to build trust, shared decision making and partnership in care plans can lead to higher patient and staff satisfaction.
