Keynote: Enhancing Communications and Relationship to Lead to a More Joyful Workplace in a Time Like This
The workplace has become increasingly stressful as a result of the COVID Pandemic which has created a “ Life-Quake Experience” with aftershocks that will last for years. Professionals are facing compassion fatigue, moral distress and incivility in the workplace. Choosing to invest in the most valuable asset in healthcare, Professionals, can lead to improved communications, relationships, resilience and wellbeing. Relational Coordination is a framework to assess and improve timely, efficient, accurate, problem solving communication and relationships that have shared purpose, shared knowledge and mutual respect. We need to begin someplace, why not with improved communications and relationships to re-discover the joy in the workplace.
