Hilary Baker is Programme Director Transformation at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). NICE’s role is to provide independent assessment of evidence, producing recommendations that balance the best care with value for money across the NHS.

 

Over the past 20 years Hilary has led change initiatives across the UK public sector; 11 of these years have been within the NHS, generating improvements in both quality and efficiency. In her current role, Hilary, is leading a programme to transform NICE to meet the needs of a changing world – with an acceleration in innovation, growing demand for health and care services and significant opportunities to work with data in new ways. In what has been described as “one of the most engaging change initiatives in health and care globally”, Hilary and her team are working with thousands of stakeholders to co-create new ways of working and collaborating, towards the achievement of the ambitious future goals for NICE.


Crowdsourcing


The programme for Microsystem festival 2022 will be build around the five success factors for high performing clinical microsystems.

Each stream will be devoted to one of the success factors and it will comprise of a key-note, a few presentations of improvement work and cases and an international team work problem- solving challenge facilitated by a coach from Qulturum, Region Jönköping County.

At the festival, you will be given many opportunities to exchange experiences and ideas with people from all over the world. People, who share your passion for microsystems and quality improvement and who come to the festival because they believe in the power of Synergy and the importance of spreading Energy for change.
